I know most people claim they won't care, but a lot of those know they will.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/72341 ... unter-says

And before a few of you claim I was a fan of 28 of 30 teams, guess again. The only team I wear the gear of is the Nuggets and I'm going to miss them this season.

That'll be good "Practice!" for whenever the NBA does come back.

Great night of college basketball on tonight.

not a lawyer...but for those that are...some questions on this NBA thing.

1) if they de-certify the union, doesn't that void all there contracts?

2) if it does...what basis do they then have against the NBA for anti trust? since no players are under contract, they are free to play anywhere in the world, or if another league starts up, they can play for them as well? right?

wouldnt this be a perfect time for the players to pool there money and start up a players league? like a membership club, where you buy in, and have to relinquish shares on your retirement/exit?

then, they could share all the revenue amongst themselves.

none of the black players as well as Kris Humphries understand this.

@russ, I know this has you gripping hard, but chill, they are only making plans.... just in case....

NBA tells teams to plan for empty arenas

.:pumpkin:.

NEW YORK (AP) — The NBA wants its teams to prepare to play games without fans if necessary because of the coronavirus crisis.

The league circulated a memo to its teams Friday telling them to prepare in case it becomes necessary to play games without fans or media, as sports leagues in Europe have already done. The memo detailed potential actions that teams might need to take “if it were to become necessary to play a game with only essential staff present.”

Jokey, please adjust your calendar.

In consultation with the CFL Players’ Association, and in cooperation with our broadcast partners at Bell Media, we are also cancelling our media and content “car wash” featuring several top CFL players (March 23-24 in Toronto), out of respect and concern for our players and staff.

Madness----Madness!!! All I can do is picture that guy at the end of the "Bridge Over the River Kwai" saying that.
No more spring training games here. The college is shut down and Publix has no toilet paper. What's up with that last one ?
