Deadly airborne plague in Madagascar is now at 'crisis' point and the 'worst outbreak in 50 years' as cases rocket by almost 40% in just 5 DAYS and could hit a further 20,000 in weeks

The deadly airborne plague spreading rapidly across Madagascar is now at 'crisis' point as cases have rocketed by 37 per cent in just five days, official figures reveal.

The outbreak, the 'worst in 50 years', is being fueled by a strain more lethal than the one which usually strikes the country off the coast of Africa.

The World Health Organization (WHO) now states there are 1,801 suspected cases - significantly higher than the 1,309 it reported last Thursday.

Academics have revealed such a jump in cases over the period of five days is concerning and have predicted it could get worse. The most recent statistics show there have been 127 deaths.

AIDS, Ebola, Africanized bees, NAPAS....the continent that keeps on giving. Let's do the right thing and bring the infected here for treatment. What can go wrong?

LET THEM IN!

What I find funny is the people saying the world is overpopulated are the same people who will demand we spend billions saving the lives of these poor Madagascans. It's the same with AIDS treatment in Afreeka. If the planet has too many people, let some of them fertilize the earth. Pretty simple math, idiots.

Yeah but we have all the privilege...of giving them a 4000 year head start.

We're due for a pandemic, but I assumed it would come from China.

Thus explaining why Africa consists of so many highly advanced countries.

I'm assuming this has already been attributed to 'Global Warming'? If it's an "airborne" virus and the air is 0.02 degrees warmer than it was in 1973, then we have a problem.
Luckily we can solve this easily enough with Carbon Taxes.

I am willing to concede that Hillary Clinton would have been much better at implementing Carbon Taxes.

Cops capture armed thief after two shoppers stabbed at Macy's in Mall of America

A would-be thief knifed two shoppers he tried to rob inside a Macy’s dressing room at Minnesota’s Mall of America, according to police.

The first victim walked in on Mahad Abdirahman pilfering his belongings in the men's department Sunday evening, when the suspect pulled out a blade, cops said.

Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts said a family member rushed in to help and was stabbed during the struggle at the retail chain. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

The wounded victims managed to disarm Abdirahman and keep him down until police arrived for the arrest, within two minutes of the initial 911 call.

The Star Tribune reports one of the victims was stabbed repeatedly, while the other was pierced in the back.

We also need to increase the Diversity Visa lottery allocation for Madagascar immediately. We need to get these diseased people out of there right away.

Sure. Why the fuck not?

Quote:
The United States issued nearly 30,000 visas to people from nations officially designated as sponsors of terrorism over the last decade through the Diversity Visa "lottery" program, the White House said Monday.

According to State Department statistics, since 2007, the U.S. has admitted 20,739 individuals from Iran; 7,232 from Sudan, and 812 from Syria through the Visa Lottery program –Iran, Sudan and Syria are currently the only countries designated by the State Department as “state sponsors of terrorism.”

Back to the original glass dick story. BBC reporting....

Madagascar's 'worst plague outbreak' in 50 years

The WHO (no, not the rock band) describes the plague as "one of the oldest - and most feared - of all diseases".

Historically, plague has been responsible for widespread pandemics with extremely high numbers of deaths.

The good news is that a simple short course of antibiotics can cure the plague, providing it is given early.

Is that a train rolling through the “city”, or is it a new neighborhood of exclusive hilltop condos?

That can't be a train. Where are the 7400 people hanging off of it?
