Too Fast For Love and Shout at the Devil are required listening, after that they became the poster kids for why metal degenerated into hair band poser hell.

This should've been another option in the poll.

I couldn't name a single song they ever did. Maybe I might have heard something as background noise somewhere but I don't remember. Hair metal was for faggots.

Head scratcher of a post right there.
What was your primary objective with this post?
Were you trying to prove you are an ignorant fool or a liar?
Neither is a good look.

He's just admitting that he was afraid to leave the closet in High school. I'm sure his Kajagoogoo album collection was epcot back in the day. :gay:

The music snobbery on this forum is surreal. Every one of us had the Dr Feelgood album on cassette and later on CD. Don't fucking lie about it, shitheads.

Just like we all had Ice Ice Baby on cassette. Own your past even if it has warts on.

Motley Crue made music that was fun to listen to and easy to sing along with. They didn't develop new chord schemes or edgy social themes, but none of us gave a good goddam about that in 1992, and you fucking know it. Some of you need to shove your pious bullshit back up your glitter crusted assholes.

FTFY

In 1992 everyone was all about being a PC cuck and bitching about anything and everything, just like in the Obama years. The only difference was Congress wasn't so quick to legislate it as they were all chasing interns around the office with their pants around their ankles.

I look forward to Jokevscal telling us INXS was garbage because they didn't tap into the psychosematic existentialism of theoretical relativism like their favorite band Radiohead.

Faggots

I've currently got Mick Mars slotted pretty high on my 2020 DP Draft Board. :ugeek:

Never could get into the Crue, Poison, Cinderella, or most of the "hair bands". I did like some Dokken, loved Tora Tora, and a couple other bands. But the whole makeup and hair thing evaded me...never understood why guys would want to look like trashy women.

But when one grows up listening to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, CSNY, ABB, etc...how could anything of lesser musicality appeal to one?

Music snobbery at its finest indeed! :band:

I have no problem with someone denying ownership. There were millions of dorks
that grew up in the 80's that would have not been caught dead buying Crue.
However, I am not believing for one second that a fucking know it all like mvs,
knows next to nothing about them.

Believe what you want. I thought hair bands sucked and paid no attention to them at all. Maybe I missed something but I doubt it.
