This would be Woodstock 3, actually. Remember that shitfest in 1999?

Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and The Black Keys are tempting. But the enormous collection of douches in the audience will keep me away.

Fucking Country Joe will bitch about it, but still be a part of it to make money. Fucking douche.

Fuck Woodstock.

Larkin Poe, Raconteurs, Sturgill Simpson is about all I'd give a fuck about.

Got past my highlighting. Santana's 1st album was the first 8-track tape I bought for the '64 Malibu I was driving in my youth.

This would be the 4st Bakedstock. The original Woodstock, despite its third-world brown acid tinge, was still the best. You had Jimi, Santana, The Who, J. Airplane, and Creedence. Even fuckin' Sha Na Na was there to kick off the Rock n Roll revival.

The second was in 1994: I have the Metallica bootleg of that show. More bakers getting caked in mud.
The third in 1999...meh.

This is the 4th bake fest. This is the festival that spawned other douche fests, including the infamous Burning (baking) Man festival, known for a stoner running into the bonfire to "move away from the real world man!"

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!

But the 50th anniversary reminisce festival I want to see?
Image
The current local chapter of Hells Angels MC will shoot and drag a dead niqqer across the field and burn him to commemorate the room-temperature of "peace and love" :jo: and the beginning of the savage 1970s at Altamont. The Undead Keith Richards to give the invocation. Altamont Free Concert is the rock n roll event that mattered. The dark side of metal and punk got its venom here.

Image
"Kill that monkey on the motorbike, fuck 'im!"

Fuck this peace and love shit.

US Fest 83 > Woodstock

Plus if we're splitting hairs, this will be Woodstock 4 after 69, 94 and 99.

Day 3 sounds like the aural equivalent to waterboarding.

Rumors of Pearl Jam, or Foo Fighters/Nirvana reunion were false.
Otherwise I have no problem with it. This
show should be for the young'ins just
as the original was. The less Boomers
and Gen Xers the better.

Nah. Contrary to what A Certain Indonesian told us, Waterboarding and other Enhanced Interrogation Techniques were conceived as humane alternatives to actual torture... Day 3 is much much worse :devil1:
